In just two short weeks, several incredible donations will be auctioned off at the Odessa Healthcare Foundation’s 25th Annual Wine Tasting, Microbrew Sampling & Auction, held at the Odessa Community Center Friday, May 6, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. Here are just a few of the new live auction items that may peak your interest:

Stay and play

Is the ocean calling your name? With three ocean view decks, four spacious bedrooms and a private hot tub, the Helaman’s House in Lincoln City, Ore. will provide the perfect space for your family and friends to enjoy for three nights – thanks to OMNI Staffing Services. This lovely beach house, which can accommodate 14 people, is an easy walk to the beach, tennis courts, groceries and fine dining. This home is perfectly situated for fun and relaxation. To check out the house in more detail visit: http://www.beachfrontrentals.net/vacation-rentals/helamans-house#.VxQ-LzArKM8.

Perhaps, the big city is calling your name. Larry and Linda Gustufson have graciously donated two one-bedroom condos (each one can sleep four) at the Carriage House in Las Vegas, Nev. Located one block off the strip, tucked away between the MGM Grand and Planet Hollywood, this non-gaming hotel is available November 30 through December 5, 2016, during the PRCA Rodeo.

Want to “play” locally? The Grange Supply Company of Odessa and The Kissler Family Foundation have donated four tickets to see “Guys and Dolls,” a romantic comedy at the Spokane Civic Theater on Friday, May 20. Before the play, enjoy a mouthwatering dinner at Clinkerdagger’s. Also, included are overnight accommodations at The Davenport Hotel.

Sports enthusiasts

Zip line through the timber for two. This incredible experience in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho will make you feel like you can fly. Cap off the night with a stay at the luxurious Coeur d’ Alene Resort in a Premier Lake Tower room and enjoy a $100 dining credit. This package has been provided by The Coeur d’Alene Resort, The Kissler Family Foundation, Timberline Adventures and Carol Schott.

Still like the idea of flying? Make sure you check out the Hot Air Balloon Package for Two donated by Lani and Mary Schorzman and Forey and Barb Walter. Float with the wind and watch the world go by, as you soar high above the Spokane Valley. This three-hour “high adventure romance” with the skies is for the 2016 flying season, which runs late spring to late September. You’ll end your flight experience will a traditional champagne toast.

Flying through the sky may not be your thing, but watching the Mariners hit a home run might just be the winning ticket. Thanks to Odessa Drug, AgVentures NW LLC and Alliant Insurance, four lucky people will get to visit Safeco Field during Ken Griffey Jr. weekend and receive a Ken Griffey Jr. replica jersey. The Seattle Mariners will host the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Seats are located in Section 141, Row 33, seats 14-17. Also included in this package is an overnight stay in a suite right next to the stadium at the Silver Cloud Hotel.

Relax and chill

Curl up in a beautiful turquoise and red queen-size quilt called “Cotton Way” donated by Beth and Reid Schafer and machine-quilted by Lise Ott of Experience Quilts! If you’d rather display the quilt, a gorgeous chalk-painted oak rack has been donated by Larry and Kelly Weber. A basket full of goodies (“Posh” products, wine, scented candles, a book light and yummy chocolates) donated by the Rehabilitation team (Jay Llewelyn, Dorcey Earle, Ryan Carpenter, and Megan Moos) will help soften the mood. Then relax as you read a signed copy of Debbie Macomber’s new release, “A Girl’s Guide To Moving On”.

Or, sit back on the patio and have a nice cold beverage, stored in a red pickup-shaped cooler. This unique item, which will surely be a conversation piece, was generously donated by Nancy Floether and Robin and Juli Weishaar.

These are just a few of the new items that you definitely don’t want to miss! Make sure to mark your calendar for Friday, May 6, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. Advance tickets can be purchased online at http://omhf.maestroweb.com through April 30 or by calling Danielle Scrupps at 509-988-3362.
