Tribute: Timothy Marvin Hauge

Timothy Marvin Hauge was born October 1, 1960 in Conrad, Montana to Marvin and Joanne (Warnick) Hauge. Tim passed away on August 15, 2016 in Odessa at the age of 55. He was a much loved pastor at Christ Lutheran Church for the last 15 years in Odessa.

He was also a member of the Odessa Fire Department, the Odessa Ministerial Association, the Oom Pas and Mas band, the Crab Creek Gospel Group and also drove school bus for the Odessa School District. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, boating, camping and creating extensive HO model train villages and scenery which he named Gavindale after his grandson. Although he had many interests, his family and especially his grandchildren were the most important to him.

Tim is survived by his wife, Shelly; three children, Kelsey (Ryan) Scrupps, Seth Hauge and Justin Hauge; two grandchildren, Gavin and Kjerstin Scrupps; three brothers, Dean (Linda) Ratliff, Ronnie (June) Ratliff, and David (Sheila) Ratliff, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Joanne. As per his request, no flowers are to be sent but memorials may be made to the Odessa Ministerial Association and the Christ Lutheran Kitchen Project.

Services for Tim were held August 19, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in Odessa. The Odessa Ministerial Association officiated, and a reception followed at the Odessa Community Center.
