O-H falls to Pomeroy, defeats ACH, Selkirk

The O-H Titans were defeated by Pomeroy in a close contest played a Northwest Christian High School in Colbert May 9.

Chance Messer pitched into the sixth inning before being relieved by Camden Weber.

Pomeroy’s pitcher had a complete game and picked up three hits, including a game-tying single in the sixth.

Odessa-Harrington scored three runs in the sixth inning on three back-to-back-to-back RBI singles to take the lead.

Pomeroy answered in the bottom of the sixth, getting two runners on and moving them over with a sacrifice bunt. The pitcher then singled in the tying run, making it 3-3. After a fielder’s choice and a walk, the next batter drew a walk with the bases loaded to give Pomeroy an eventual 4-3 victory.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline

The O-H Titans took back the lead for the final time in the seventh inning in a see-saw battle against ACH to win by 10-9 on May 13.

The Titans had an early lead in the second inning when Camden Weber doubled, scoring two runs.

The Titans scored four runs in the fourth inning on a single by Chance Messer, a single by Colton Hunt and an error.

The Warriors scored one run in the top of the fifth, but O-H responded with another run. ACH scored on an error, but the Titans answered with Jett Nelson singling to drive in one run.

The Titans built up a four-run lead in the fifth inning, holding off a six-run surge by ACH over the last two innings. ACH’s big inning saw them score five runs in the sixth.

O-H had 10 hits in the game with Messer, Nelson and Weber each getting multiple hits.

Selkirk

Chance Messer didn’t allow a single run as the O-H Titans defeated Selkirk 10-0 on Saturday May 13. Messer allowed three hits in the game.

O-H took the lead in the first inning, when an error scored one run.

The Titans scored six runs in the second inning on a double by Jaden Hunt, a single by Jett Nelson, a single by Chance Messer and two runs on errors.

The Titans had eight hits in the game, with Hunt and Messer each getting multiple hits.
