Last updated 7/10/2017 at 9:20pm

Ron Ramm joined our Heavely Father June 24, 2017. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane.

Ron was born April 27, 1941 to Albert and Francis Ramm of Odessa, where he lived for 20 years and met the love of his life, Jerrene Thornock.

Ron had been an employee of Lawson Market, Boise Meats and Rosauers. He and Jerrene opened Spokane Door Systems in 1974, where they worked together for the next 38 years. They employed many people during their time in the garage door business, where Ron freely gave his advice, opinions and good jokes.

Ron and Jerrene made their home in Otis Orchards where they raised their three children. Ron enjoyed fishing, his huge garden, Sunday breakfast with friends, Gonzaga basketball, Mariners and Seahawk games, morning BS sessions at the local doughnut shop and any meal at Timber Creek Buffet.

Ron is survived by Jerrene, his loving wife of 56 years; his children, Jamie (Allen), Craig (Cindy) and Kelly (Lisa); grandsons Jared and Connor Ramm and his beloved dogs Mollie and Annie. Rest peacefully, Pops, we love and miss you so much.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to SCRAPS of Spokane.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 8, at 11 a.m. at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
