Tiger varsity high-school girls win two, lose two

Wilbur-Creston

On December 5, the Tiger high-school girls played W-C in Odessa, defeating the Wildcats by 10 points.

The Davison sisters, senior Maleah and sophomore McKennah, led the Tiger scoring with 11 points each. Maddy Wagner added 9 points and Brenna Carstensen 6. Wagner led in rebounding with 13, while Mc. Davison pulled down 8 more.

Kettle Falls

The next day, December 6, the girls played Kettle Falls, like W-C another 2B team, on the Odessa home court. The KF girls took this one, 58-35.

Wagner was the scoring leader for the Tigers with 10 points, followed by Amber Smith with 8. Wagner also paced the Tigers in rebounding with 11. Mc. Davison pulled down another 7 rebounds.

Columbia (Hunters)

Against Columbia High School, the Tiger girls had little trouble overpowering a team that had only seven girls on its roster and only six of which were suited up to play December 8 at home in Odessa. After being shut out completely in the first half, the Columbia girls came back with 10 in the second half, while the Tigers built their lead.

Mc. Davison had the hot hand, scoring 17 points, while Smith and Kenadie Elder each scored 9 points for the Tigers. Kassidy Crossley led the team in rebounding with 7, and Elder had 5 rebounds.

Valley Christian

On December 9, the team traveled to Spokane to face Valley Christian, losing to the Panthers by 20 points.

Wagner scored 10 points to lead the Tigers, with Mc. Davison putting up another 8 points. Wagner also led the rebounding with 11, while Mc. Davison added 7.
