Correction

Our report on the most recent Odessa Town Council meeting said incorrectly that Bill Knerr had been appointed to the council. He has been appointed to the planning commission, not the council. The open council position being vacated by Terry Goetz will be filled by Vickie Iverson, who was elected by Odessa voters in November. There will be another vacancy, as we stated last week, when Bill Crossley resigns his council seat to begin serving as mayor in January. Citizens willing to serve on the council are asked to submit letters of interest to the clerk's office.
