Honor roll students at SCC and SFCC campuses

To be included on the winter 2018 honor roll lists at Spokane Community College (SCC) and Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC), students must earn a 3.0 grade point average or higher and be full time (at least 12 credits).

In our local area, Raymond Harrington of Harrington and Joshua Watkins of Odessa were among the more than 2,300 students named to the SCC honor roll.

SCC is one of the largest community colleges in the state and serves more than 20,000 students every year. SCC has provided college transfer, career-technical and adult basic educational opportunities to hundreds of thousands of students in eastern Washington since 1963. The main campus is located in Spokane, but there are centers in Colville, Newport, Republic, Ione and Inchelium.

The winter 2018 honor roll list at SFCC includes more than 2,000 students, including Tamra Edmonds, Lauren Fink, Thomas Harris and Shelbey Watkins, all of Odessa.

SFCC serves more than 8,000 students per year on the Spokane and Pullman campuses and online, offering associate degrees for students transferring to four-year institutions, career and technical programs and applied baccalaureate degrees. Opened in 1967 as part of the Community Colleges of Spokane, SFCC boasts a transfer rate of more than 60 percent.
