Chamber

The Odessa Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Chamber banquet on March 16 (see ad, page 5). The event’s theme will be March Madness, and attendees are encouraged to dress to reflect support for their favorite college basketball team.

$25 ticket price includes the cost of dinner and of live music to begin following a short business meeting required by the organization.

Police

Police chief Brent Dell and Mayor Bill Crossley announced the hiring of a lateral police officer from Colorado. Rental housing is needed.

A call for bids was approved for the spring/summer project on replacement water lines and street repairs.
