Tigers defeat Wellpinit 98-0

ODESSA – The Odessa Tiger football team started off their new season, finally, with a huge win over Wellpinit, 98-0. The boys were itching to get on the field and prove their mettle as the reigning state champions in the 1B category.

Senior Tim DeWulf was back in action after missing all of last season recovering from foot surgery. He proved his value with five pass receptions for 105 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, he racked up five solo tackles and two assists.

Fellow senior and quarterback Jett Nelson also had a great night, completing six of six pass attempts, four of them for TDs....
