The Tigers take on the Mary Walker Chargers of Springdale 74-6

ODESSA – The Odessa High football team returns to good form following the drubbing it took from the ACH Warriors on Oct. 15 by defeating the Mary Walker Chargers of Springdale with a very lopsided score of 74-6. A big first quarter set the tone as the Tigers posted 44 unanswered points.

Davey McMillan did the heavy lifting on offense, rushing the ball for 175 yards on five carries and making three touchdowns and three two-point conversions. Anthony Elder carried the ball into the end zone for two TDs, while Chad Strebeck and Levi Hardung had one TD each. Quarterback Collin Martin was responsible for 164 yards, 102 yards rushing, including one TD, and gaining 62 yards on a completed pass to receiver Daeton Deife. Martin also intercepted a pass and ran it in for his second TD. Zane McMillan also intercepted a pass and took it into the end zone.

On defense, Corbyn Neilsen led the team in tackles with eight, four solo and four assists. Strebeck added seven, with three solo tackles and four assists.

This Friday's game is at Republic, where it will be the Tigers vs the Tigers at 7 p.m.
