Richard "Dick" C. Sawyer

Richard "Dick" C. Sawyer (81), longtime resident of Spokane Valley, Wash. passed away on Oct. 24, 2021, at Sacred Heart Hospital from complications of pneumonia. He was born on Feb. 18, 1940, to Ellis and Eleanor Sawyer. He was born in Harrington, Wash., raised in Davenport graduating from Davenport High School in 1958. After high school he joined the Air National Guard and worked as a civilian as an aircraft mechanic until his retirement in 1994. He then went to work for Capstone Construction doing maintenance to keep himself busy. He was affectionately known to them as "Dr. Demo".
