Reardan town council passes 2022 budget

Approved budget has town in the black

REARDAN – A quorum of three town councilmembers unanimously approved the 2022 budget at its Dec. 16 meeting. The approved budget has $1,194,811 in its projected revenue and $1,123,513 in its expenditures, leaving a difference of $71,298.

The adopted budget ordinance closed the Stimulating Summers fund, with all residual revenue going into the library fund. The criminal justice fund was merged into the current expense fund.

That current expense fund’s 2022 budget is projecting $370,241 in revenues and $364,276 in expenditures.
