Feb. 14

Traffic stops: 8

A Reardan man said someone was gassing his house remotely and he had to use a fan to get the gas out of his house.

Spokane Tribal Police said they received reports of someone shooting at a parked vehicle in front of a house in Ford.

Davenport City Hall staff requested a welfare check on a local man living on the 300 block of Logan Street that hadn’t paid his utility bill and was about to get his water shut off before the city received reports from neighbors that he hadn’t been seen in a while.


A Reardan man said he hit and knocked down a stop sign next to the high school.

A Davenport man reported a suspicious car, which he termed a “tweakermobile,” near the intersection of Cobb and Mecklenburg Roads south of the city and west of Edwall.

A caller said his car was stuck in about eight inches of mud blocking Lane Road a half mile west of Level Road northeast of Davenport.


A caller said someone was shooting a B.B. gun at cats.

A Davenport man reported a possible driver under the influence driving a pickup truck south on Highway 174 from Bagdad Road and swerving across the roadway.

A Davenport man said he was being harassed by a local family that was posting rhetoric about him, his brother and his son online.

Feb. 15

Traffic stops: 15

A caller reported a bag and tools spilled on Morgan Street near Third Street in Davenport.

A caller said someone dumped a boat on their property about two weeks ago and wanted it checked out before it was towed.

A Davenport man said a black car collided with and knocked down a street sign.

A caller said a tractor trailer clipped a vehicle while turning at an intersection.

A Reardan caller reported children playing on ice.

A Creston woman said she was locked out of her car, which her dog and cat were inside.

A caller reported a broken-down chip truck blocking the middle of the southbound lane on Highway 25 near milepost 21.

A worker with Lincoln County Public Works said he saw a tractor semitruck pulling a double-trailer of pipe turn down Miles-Creston Road off Highway 2 despite marked road restrictions on that road.

A caller reported a snowmobile stuck on the ice.

A Wilbur man said a friendly dog kept walking over to him at his apartment on the 500 block of Southwest Raymond Street and eventually knocked him over.

Spokane Tribal Police said they were investigating a possible structure fire near Little Falls Dam.

Feb. 16

Traffic stops: 6

Franklin County officers said they received a call from a man who said he was driving on Harrington-Tokio Road seven miles south of Harrington and saw two people slumped over the wheel of a Volkswagen Jetta pulled over on the side of the roadway.

A Reardan man said he was being powerfully poisoned with gas remotely.

A caller reported a man and a woman in a small red car on Highway 28 near Duck Lake Lamona Road at milepost 105.

A Spokane woman requested a civil standby while retrieving her belongings out of her ex-boyfriend’s apartment directly across from the Safeway parking lot.

A caller reported a 76-year-old female that fell.

A Reardan man said high school kids had been driving on Addington Road and ripping it up for five days.

A Wilbur man said he heard a woman “screaming bloody murder” for 20 seconds.

A caller said her sister ran away from home and was headed for Lake Roosevelt Middle School.

A Davenport man said a small sedan flew by his vehicle westbound on Highway 2 from Reardan.

A grand Coulee man said a small dog had been left outside barking for three hours in the cold on the 44900 block of Highway 174 North.

A Reardan man said he was woken up to his dogs barking and thought his neighbor’s 12-year-old son was trying to get into his house to get warm on the 100 block of North Cedar Street.

Feb. 17

Traffic stops: 6

A Davenport woman reported a suspicious man and woman near the 900 block of Main Street.

A Sprague man said he believed his identity had been stolen since he went to file his taxes online and was told that his identity had already been used to file with the IRS.

A fire was reported in an undisclosed location.

Feb. 18

Traffic stops: 7

A caller said he saw someone standing on his property through footage on his game camera on the 28200 block of Bachelor Prairie Road north of Creston.

A caller reported a possible driver under the influence eastbound on Highway 2 at milepost 227.

A Creston man said his gun that he had ordered and was scheduled to be delivered via FedEx was possibly stolen since he got a notification that he signed for the package, but he hadn’t received it.

A Ford man said his girlfriend was punching holes in the wall at his residence on the 38100 block of Angel’s Landing Road.

A caller reported a car that had been sitting and running on the 400 block of Morgan Street in Davenport all evening.

A caller reported seeing someone inside Napa Auto Parts in Davenport after hours.

Feb. 19

Traffic stops: 12

A Reardan man once again reported that he was getting gassed out of his house.

An expected death was reported in Harrington.

A caller said his ex-wife wasn’t releasing his son to the person designated to pick him up.

A caller reported a man that lives at the Bed and Breakfast at Ninth and Merriam Streets in Davenport had been yelling curses at her and her family whenever they drove by and would step in front of the cars to stop them.

A caller reported an SUV that crossed the center line twice heading westbound into Davenport on Highway 2.

A caller said they were informed about a verbal or possibly physical altercation across from the Harrington Post Office.

Feb. 20

Traffic stops: 16

A caller reported a dark blue car off the roadway but partially blocking the lane in an undisclosed location.

A suspicious person was reported in Reardan.

A Reardan man said someone was trying to gas him out of his house for the fourth time that week.

A caller reported an aggressive pitbull on Park and Third Streets in Davenport.

A caller said he had to physically remove his neighbor’s dog from his yard on the 1000 block of Sinclair Street.

A caller said they noticed the FedEx box in front of Davenport Family Foods was open and wouldn’t shut.

A caller reported a camper setting up a camp in an undisclosed location.

A caller reported a car partially blocking Bachelor Prairie Road north of Wilbur.

A boulder had to be moved off a roadway.

A caller reported a disabled car in the southbound lane on Highway 25 at milepost 11.

A Reardan man said he found new tire tracks in his field just south of the intersection of Addington and Alexander Roads.

A Seven Bays man said his dogs chased a cougar into a tree near his residence on the 2200 block of Grovepoint Court.
