Jeffrey Dale Davis

October 27, 1966 – March 8, 2022

Jeffrey Dale Davis passed away March 8, 2022 in Davenport Washington. He was surrounded by his loving wife (Lynda), three sons (Kyle, Brandon, Aaron), his sister (Vallesha) and brother (Ashley) as he went to be with the Lord.

Jeff was born on October 27,1966 in Covina, California the son of Gary Dale Davis and Susan Elizabeth McIntyre. Since he spent a majority of his childhood in California, he loved to fish, surf, and explore for countless hours on the beach. In 1981, when Jeff was in 8th grade his mother Susan and Stepfather Robert Schaub decided to pack up their lives and begin a new adventure in the Pacific Northwest, finding land in Lincoln Washington.

Once the family settled in, they established ownership of the Comet Cafe in Creston, Washington. This is where Jeff found the love of playing pinball and arcade games. Jeff transitioned from a California “beach brat” to a small town, three sport athlete (football, basketball, and baseball). After graduating in a class of eight students, he decided to enlist in the military becoming a Navy Seabee (1985-1989).

He attended Spokane Community College, was on the tennis team, and graduated with an AA Degree. He met his wife, Lynda in late Spring in 1988 in Creston, WA, while playing on the same volleyball team during the town's Community Days. They married in 1992 and had three sons, Kyle, Brandon and Aaron. Jeff was one of the first employees for his brother in law Guy, at Copenhaver Construction.

He also became a Spokane Racquet Club tennis pro and enjoyed teaching lessons, but ultimately came back to Copenhaver Construction working with heavy equipment for the next 25 plus years and was very proud of his job. Jeff and his family loved baseball games, boating, fishing, golfing, and traveling for hockey. Jeff will always be remembered for his smile, kindness, hardworking, and loyalty to his family.

Jeff is survived by his wife: Lynda; three sons: Kyle (Hannah), Brandon, Aaron; 1 grandchild: Tate Jeffrey; his siblings: Vallesha (Guy) Copenhaver; Bobby (Wendy) Schaub, Ashley (Sarah) Schaub, Christopher (Britney) Davis; Grandparents: Bill (Barbara) McIntyre, and uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Susan, father Gary, and stepfather Robert.

Jeff's memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Audubon Park United Methodist Church (3908 N. Driscoll Blvd). Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Care Northwest, Northside building.
