DAVENPORT—Last week, we reported about six Lincoln County candidates that had registered their campaigns for 2022 elections with the state Public Disclosure Commission.

Each candidate is required to register their campaigns within two weeks of filing for candidacy with the county during filing week, which begins May 16.

Some candidates, however, are getting an early start by registering in the weeks leading up to filing week.
