MEDICAL LAKE-A six-run fourth inning by the Reardan softball team started to raise indications of a potential upset for the team over the 1A host Cardinals, but the home team went on a 10-run spurt over a three-inning span to erase any questions of a Medical Lake setback in a 17-8 result Tuesday, April 12.
Reardan, competing against its former skipper in first-year Medical Lake head coach John Higgins, plated two runs in the top of the first inning but surrendered four Cardinals runs in the bottom of the frame.
