April 25

Traffic stops: 14

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transferred from the Spokane Police Department.

A caller said her mom had been acting weird over text message.

An Avista caller said they found some bones in the ground next to a shoe.

A caller reported an issue with a youth at the school in Reardan.

An Idaho man said he locked his keys in his car and needed help getting it open.

An Idaho man reported a youth near Keller Ferry riding a JetSki and doing donuts in the water with no life jacket or wet suit on.

A caller said a child was bitten by a dog.

A caller reported a car speeding north on Waukon Road just past Titchenal Road.

A Harrington man reported people acting suspiciously.

April 26

Traffic stops: 9

A citizen assist was performed at Trader’s in Davenport.

State Patrol reported a trooper en route with one man in custody for possession of stolen property.

A caller reported a car crashed into a deer on Highway 25 about milepost 9.

A Harrington woman reported three or four unknown people inside a house on the 200 block of West Main Street.

A Davenport woman requested assistance removing an abandoned travel trailer on her property on the 32500 block of Winterwood Lane East.

A Davenport woman said the smell of the smoke from the grill vent at El Rodeo was making her and other tenants at the apartments near Safeway feel sick.

A commercial alarm was reported at the National Park Service district office.

Drugs were found in a Lincoln County Jail cell.

A courtesy ride was given to a man in Lamona.

An Edwall woman said someone left an old fishing boat on her property on the 12900 block of Polenske Road East.

A caller said the manager of the Sprague Motel wouldn’t allow him into the motel after he was able to live there while working there.

A caller said his father received a call telling him he was being investigated for having ties to a drug ring. The caller then said his father sent the caller about $2,000.

An abandoned vehicle was reported at a house in Reardan.

A Wilbur man reported an elderly woman in his car’s passenger seat looking through his glove box. He said she claimed she thought it was her car when he confronted her about it.

A Harrington woman reported a car with poor lane travel she’d been behind from Airway Heights.

An Odessa woman reported two youths playing on the railroad tracks near City Park.

April 28

A loose cow was reported.

A caller reported an abandoned vehicle in Wilbur.

A caller reported a car crashing into a guard railing near Lake Roosevelt.

A caller reported a car blocking a lane of travel on Riffe and Nye Roads northwest of Reardan.

A man said his phone was stolen from his house.

A caller from Davenport City Hall said he was contacted by a citizen reporting a dangerous animal.

A caller said someone stole fencing from his residence.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Spokane.

An Almira man reported an erratically driven Ford making bad passes westbound on Highway 2 entering Wilbur.

A caller reported a young man driving around town loudly.

A Davenport woman reported a possible driver under the influence northbound on Highway 25 at milepost 7 with varying speeds from 30 to 60 mph.

A caller from BNSF Railroad said they were stopped on tracks near Doerschlag Road in Sprague when they noticed trespassing.

Johnson Family Towing in Harrington said someone was breaking into their lot.

A caller reported a possible drug overdose.

A caller said his uncle was having a bad experience with a woman who appeared to be on drugs.

A woman said a man violated their no-contact order by calling her on a new phone.

A vehicle lockout was reported on the 100 block of South Oak Street in Reardan.

A caller reported an Angus bull in a roadway.

A caller said their car crashed into the Corner Café in Creston.

A caller reported a loose bull with a white tag.

A caller said two cars passed him on Highway 2.

A woman said a man whose no-contact order had just expired against her was yelling at her.

A caller reported a German shepherd running loose.

April 30

Traffic stops: 18

A local Davenport superintendent decided to head toward retirement with a bang by accidentally backing a school district van into a pole at Trader’s on Morgan Street while getting gas.

A Grand Coulee man said he fell asleep and drove his vehicle off Spring Canyon Road the previous night and got it stuck in an embankment, but was uninjured.

A caller said she recovered a dog off I-90 that was in a car accident the previous day.

A Davenport man reported a blue Mustang speeding westbound into town on Highway 2.

Grand Coulee Police said they had recovered a disorderly person.

A caller reported 10 calf/cow pairs on Kallenberger Road near the Fishtrap exit on I-90.

A caller reported a group of people that had been setting off fireworks for hours.

A woman said she could hear someone shooting guns and driving up and down Cayuse Cove Road.

May 1

Traffic stops: 6

A man said there was a car parked about 150 yards from his house on King Ranch Road and he wanted to know what they were doing.

A caller said her neighbor’s dog was out again.

A man said his neighbor had been going onto his property and stealing scrap metal.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate claimed she was paralyzed and smeared blood on her hand.

A caller said she believed her ex-husband was driving around without a license.

A Davenport man reported a suspicious man loitering around the Davenport Motel.

Matthew William Chism, Everett, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to one day in jail, eight hours of community service and 12 months supervised probation.

Todd Alan Goodall, Davenport, driving under the influence amended to reckless endangerment. Sentenced to eight hours of community service, a $1,000 fine and 24 months unsupervised probation.

Jamie Brian Burris, Spokane, fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence. Sentenced to 17 days in jail with credit for 17 days served and 24 months supervised probation.

Dwight Layton Combs, Grand Coulee, driving under the influence amended to reckless driving. Sentenced to 16 hours of community service, a $1,000 fine and 24 months supervised probation.
