Kaye Marie Timm

Jan. 12, 1952 - May 22, 2022

Kaye Marie Timm was born Jan. 12, 1952 in Davenport, Wash. On May 22, 2022 she passed away peacefully in Kirkland, WA after fighting cancer hard, twice.

Kaye attended school in Harrington until her High School graduation. She was a proud alumna of Central Washington University.

She always loved the city and quickly made the move to Seattle to spend her professional years in corporate accounting, working for many non-profit organizations. However, many summers she continued to come back to Harrington to drive wheat truck for the family farm. She may not have had a conventional life, but in the words of Frank Sinatra she would tell you “I did it my way!”

Spending her years experiencing and enjoying all the things she loved. She was a season ticket holder at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, she was a 40 year and charter member of the Chapter H.J., first member of her P.E.O. Chapter, she was the O.G. 12th Man supporting her Seahawks from the stands as a season ticket holder or at home watching them on TV and never missing a Gonzaga game if she could help it. She was a true sports fanatic!

She is survived by her sisters Laurie Timm and Joan Shauerman. Nephew Matt Shauerman, niece Tracy (Kory) Kelly and her children, great-niece Makenna and great-nephew Brenden. Her brother Kelly (Sherri) Timm, nephew Casey Timm, niece Jessica Timm, niece Amanda (Justen) Britain and her children, 3 great-nephews Declan, Carter and Braden. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Shirley and Lawrence Timm, her brother Steve Timm.

There will be a graveside service in Harrington for Kaye on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Harrington, WA. In her honor your best Seahawks attire is requested.
