REARDAN–Town Council discussed the need to demolish the park pavilion at its meeting Thursday, Nov. 3. Councilmembers have solicited several bids to remove the 30-year-old structure from its concrete pad.

Public works director Bob Winn reported the weathered structure’s roof is rotting. He said there is no timeline to raze the structure but that it needs to be done “as soon as possible.”

“The building was good for its time, but needs to come down before somebody gets hurt,” Winn said.
