Traffic stops: 7

State Patrol said they received a report of a one-vehicle slideoff on Highway 231 at milepost 40 due to icy road conditions.

Lincoln County Public Works reported an abandoned vehicle on Old Coulee Road one mile south of Bagdad Road north of Almira.

A Creston woman said her car went off the road and got stuck in a ditch.

A Davenport woman said a man had cars parked in the lane of travel on the 100 block of Marshall Street.

A Davenport woman reported trespassing on the 32500 block of Johns Rocky Way East.

A city code violation was reported in Reardan.

A one-vehicle non-injury rollover car crash was reported on Highway 25 at milepost 2.

A Wilbur woman reported a Ford abandoned on Wilbur Airport Road by Highway 2.

A caller reported three vehicles circling a block recklessly.

Traffic stops: 5

An Edwall woman said she saw a vehicle with its four-way flashers on in the roadway on Highway 231 just south of the local railroad track.

A Granite Falls woman said she had someone on camera trespassing on her property.

A Davenport woman reported a man sleeping under the sink in the men’s bathroom in Pioneer Park.

A possible juvenile altercation that turned out to be a false alarm was reported at the school in Reardan.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Lincoln Hospital for a COVID-19 test.

A Davenport woman reported a suspicious man sleeping on the bench outside Family Foods.

A caller from a veterinary office in Medical Lake said she was told by SCRAPS to call the Sheriff’s Office about someone at their clinic.

Reardan Police said they received a report of a stolen iPad that was eventually tracked down in Harrington.

A Davenport man said he tried help a friend fix their vehicle, but that friend had ignored him for a week and theft the vehicle on his Marshall Street property.

Stevens County said they received a 911 call with no voices on the other end from the intersection of McRae and Schumer Roads outside Reardan.

Traffic stops: 7

A caller said her mother was stuck outside Odessa with a flat tire she believed was caused by another woman.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Spokane County.

A Davenport man reported an 84-year-old man that suffered a short fall on the 52400 block of Euclid Road East in Reardan.

Three deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 16600 block of Oregon Street in Edwall to evict a tenant.

A Davenport woman reported a dog running loose on Merriam Street.

A Seven Bays woman reported several cars full of youths jumping on the cars while spinning wheels and blocking the roads.

An audible burglary was reported going off in the basement of the Lincoln County Courthouse.

Okanogan County said they received an alarm notification going off at the National Park headquarters on Crest Drive in Grand Coulee.

A Davenport woman said her 15-year-old son skipped school and messaged her that he would come home when he felt like it.

A caller from BNSF said one of their passing trains saw two dogs tied to the railroad track at the Irby Road crossing.

A caller said he saw a man looking in the windows outside Colville’s Gas Station in Reardan.

A robbery was reported in Odessa.

A car out of gas was reported on Highway 174 just north of Highway 2.

A caller requested deputy contact regarding his protection order.

A Harrington woman said her ex-boyfriend stole her snowshoes.

A Davenport woman said her 15-year-old son was assaulting his father on the 600 block of 13th Street.

BNSF Police said a trailer was stolen overnight near Bluestem.

A Hawk Creek man reported a car parked on the side of the road near his driveway on Hawk Creek Road.

A caller said she and her husband hit a deer a half mile down Batum Road off Highway 28.

A caller reported a pickup truck swerving across lanes westbound on Highway 2 at milepost 267.

A caller requested deputy contact at the Black Bear Motel.

A caller said her ex-boyfriend wouldn’t leave their house.

A Davenport woman said her neighbor’s dog was loose and barking outside her window.

A Wilbur woman said she thought her daughter was across the street from Doxie’s Diner getting raped and murdered, but police said it was a false alarm.

A Davenport man said his ex-wife violated their parenting plan.

An Arizona woman requested help with a civil situation in Sprague.

A caller reported a pickup truck speeding westbound on Highway 2 at milepost 258.

A man said his ex was bad mouthing him on Facebook and claiming he is a child molester.

A Spokane man asked a deputy to retrieve items he left at his former residence in Edwall.

Harlan Lynn Pelletier, 48, Elmer City. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of failure to comply.

Criminal court-Nov. 10

Cheyenne Rosalie Ford, Wellpinit, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.

Jessica Ann Taylor, Grand Coulee, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to two days in jail, 16 hours of community service and 12 months supervised probation.

Lance Joseph Sinka, Spokane, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to two days in jail, 16 hours of community service, a $250 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Penny Lee Ralph, Spokane, failure to transfer title within 45 days. Fined $150.

Jenna Lea Kramer, Soap Lake, operating a vehicle without a valid title. Fined $300.

Harlan Lynn Pelletier, Elmer City, no-contact protection order violation. Sentenced to three days in jail.

Arthur James Banko, Odessa, violating an anti-harassment order. Fined $4,800.

Sandra Lee Warwick, Reardan, operating a vehicle without a valid title. Case dismissed.

Brandon Lee Westover, Chattaroy, possessing marijuana under the age of 21 and use of drug paraphernalia. Case dismissed.

Clarence Lee Chafin, Wilbur, fourth-degree assault/domestic violence, violating a protection order and first-degree criminal trespassing. Sentenced to 26 days in jail with credit for 26 days served and 24 months supervised probation.

SUPERIOR COURT

Criminal court-Nov. 8

Mathew Scott Chafin, who was convicted of first-degree child molestation in 2021, heard the court express concern about a positive test for use of methamphetamine. A review hearing will be set in one year.

Shash Sky Talancon, who was convicted of second-degree assault and six counts of first-degree unlawful firearm possession in August, had a motion for firearm forfeiture hearing continued to Nov. 22.

Joel Terry Bourne, who is charged with residential burglary, had his case continued to Dec. 13.

Victor D. Schwartz was convicted of second-degree burglary and second-degree motor vehicle theft and was sentenced to 12 months and a day in prison. Schwartz was ordered to pay $450 in restitution to Jennifer Condon.

Cody James Magruder was convicted of second-degree burglary and sentenced to 12 months and a day in prison. Magruder was ordered to pay $660 in restitution to James Llewellyn.
