Boys team looks to build on last year's progress

REARDAN-Coach Brian Graham welcomed 22 boys to the Screaming Eagles' first basketball practice of the season on Nov. 14.
In his eighth season at the helm, Graham is optimistic his team will improve on last year's 10-12 record.
"Last year we started two freshmen," he said, "but now they are sophomores. We have some kids with high-level skills, but overall, we are still young."
Prior to the first practice, he met with each player to discuss the season.
"They have high expectations," Graham said. "Each one of them has the heart, fire and drive to succeed."
