Sprague School District lobbies levy

SPRAGUE—The school district here needs funds to continue providing the services it presently does, and is counting on the will of the voters to provide that money through a replacement levy on the ballot in the Feb. 14 special election.

The two-year levy will collect $215,000 each in 2024 and 2025, which is an increase from the $195,000 being collected annually on the present levy. However, the district projects the individual estimated levy rate will be decreased due to an increase of property ownership in the district.
