Davenport girls win three straight

DAVENPORT-After getting routed at home by the Liberty Lancers last Tuesday, the Davenport girls decided to do the routing themselves with three straight convincing victories over Kettle Falls, Asotin and Chewelah this week.

Kettle Falls was the first foe to be felled Friday, Jan. 6. Davenport won 54-23 behind 20 points from eighth-grader Emalie Jacoby, who noticed 20 points and 10 steals. Clare Lathrop added 10 points off the bench.

Asotin came to town Saturday, Jan. 7 and succumbed to a full-court press barrage in the first quarter that allowed Davenport to take a 32-6 lead. Davenport let off...
