COULEE CITY — The Odessa boys basketball team skirted in a very narrow 46-45 win by one point at an away game against the Republic Tigers 46-45, in a District 7 1B play-in game Saturday, Feb. 4.

After the first quarter, Odessa led 14-11. In the second quarter, the Tigers scored another nine points to Republic’s four to take a 23-15 halftime lead.

In the third quarter Republic added 13 points but Odessa countered with 14 to end the third quarter up 37-28.
