Davenport boys fourth at Van Kuren Invite

Odessa girls finish seventh at Cheney meet

Reardan sophomore Braydon Bayless looks to surge ahead in the boys 100-meter dash at the Van Kuren Invite Saturday, April 15. Bayless finished 11th with a time of 11.56.

CHENEY - Lincoln County track and field teams were out in full force at the Van Kuren Invite Saturday, April 15.

The top local finishing team was the Davenport boys, who finished fourth amongst 32 qualifying schools with 48 points. Timberlake took first for the boys.

The Odessa girls were Lincoln County's best on the female side, finishing tied for seventh amongst 30 teams with 41 points. Host Cheney won the meet with 86 points.

The Davenport girls finished 11th with 23 points, while Reardan was 23rd with five points. The Reardan boys finished 15th with 17.5 points.
