Crick was born to Jesse "Mick" and Lucille (Heidt) Watkins at their home in Prosser, Wash. on March 30, 1945. Crick lived a colorful life and was a jack of all trades. He often joked about being a butcher, baker and a candlestick maker because he literally had done all three. Crick served in the US Air Force from 08-18-65 to 11-25-66.
