DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL:

Expand the existing Wilbur

pit by 36.7 acres for a total of

96.2 acres and continue development

of the existing surface

mine. The site would also be

used for stockpiling crushed

products and a temporary asphalt

or concrete batch plant to

produce products.

LEAD AGENCY: Lincoln County

Land Services

DETERMINATION: The lead

agency for this proposal has

determined that it does not

have a probable significant

adverse impact of the environment.

An environmental impact

statement (EIS) is not required

under RCW 43.21C.030. This

decision was made after review

of a completed environmental

checklist and other information

on file with the lead agency.

This information is available to

the public on request. This DNS

is issued under 197-11- 340(2)

and the lead agency will not act

on this proposal for 14 days from

the date below. Comments must

be submitted by 3:30 PM May

18, 2023.

This Determination of Non-Significance

is issued pursuant to

the applicant’s compliance with

the following:

development, county road ingress/

egress requirements and

all state/federal requirements.
