Marianne G. Brommer passed away May 8, 2023 in Spokane, Wash. Marianne was born June 29, 1937 in Spokane, Wash. to Otto and Marian Remmers. Marianne married Edward Brommer on Feb. 9, 1957 in Cheney, Wash. and then made their home in Reardan, Wash. Marianne was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed Gonzaga basketball, the Spokane Indians baseball, family history, yard work, her flower garden, going to the cabin on Waitts Lake and spending time with family. She was always a homemaker, caring for her family, but she also worked for over 20 years as the head cook for the Reardan school district.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ed; three daughters Rhonda (Mark) Kalous, Brenda (Alex) Guhlke, and Sandra (Randy) Walen along with 6 grandchildren, Christopher (Ashlie), Scott (Katie), Holly (Jared), Anne, Sarah and Brittany; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; her sisters Gerry Godley, Lorene Nilles and Jackie Kutz and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life memorial service was held on Tues., May 16, 2023 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Reardan, Wash. with Pastor Greg Yeager, officiating.
