Davenport track gets top-2 finishes

Davenport freshman Glenna Soliday surges ahead in the hurdles at the District 7/9 1B/2B Regional Championships in Colfax Saturday, May 20.
COLFAX - The Davenport boys track team was challenged by Chewelah but took home a District 7 2B title at the Regional Championships Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20.
Davenport won the title with 135 team points, holding off the 127-point Cougars. St. George's was a rather distant third with 101 points.
The Davenport girls finished second amongst 2B girls with 119.5 points. St. George's dominated the field with 215.5 points.
Odessa's girls finished third amongst 1B competitors with 98 points behind first-place Garfield-Palouse with 147 points and second-place Oakesdale with 109 points....
