ODESSA — The town will be bustling this weekend as the 52nd Annual Deutschesfest runs from Thursday, Sept. 14-Sunday, Sept. 17.
Events begin with sidewalk chart art outside Wheatland Bank at 5 p.m. Thursday, followed by tricycle and bed races on First Avenue at 6 p.m.
Some of Friday’s events include an FFA pancake breakfast and the annual Sausage Bowl football game vs. Cusick.
Some events Saturday include a Fun Run, general parade, poker run tournament 2-person scramble and Rocky Coulee Brewing Fest games, including the beer stein holding contest.
Sunday includes FBLA breakfast, mass, church service, street fair and German food court.
The Biergarten is open 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
