Passed away Sept. 24, 2023, at his home following after a short illness. Ed was born on July 24, 1951 in Spokane, Wash. to Arnold and Nadine Johnston. He grew up in Hunters, Wash. and attended Columbia High School graduating in 1969 as class salutatorian. He went on to attend SCC receiving his AA. He then attended EWU graduating Magna cum Laude, receiving his BA in Accounting & Financial, and passing the state CPA exam.
