Kidder to fill town council position

REARDAN - At its meeting Thursday, Oct. 6, the town council selected Raymond (Rocky) Kidder to fill the position vacated by councilman Shad Vincent upon his Aug. 14 resignation.

No applicants filed to fill Vincent's with the Lincoln County Auditor's Office during the filing periods in May and July, so the town sought applications from community members.

Kidder sent a letter to the council asking to be considered for the position the same day Vincent resigned..
