Oct. 8

Traffic stops: 9

A Harrington woman accused a man of stealing drills, chargers, a car stereo and her vibrator.

A caller said she believed someone was shooting in the direction of her house while hunting.

A stranded boater was reported on Lake Roosevelt between Detillion Campground and Porcupine Bay.

A caller reported a CRV with poor lane travel westbound on Highway 2 at milepost that turned out to be an elderly woman with the sun in her eyes.

A Davenport man was arrested for driving under the influence on 12th and Marshall Streets.

Oct. 9

Traffic stops: 3

An Odessa woman said she needed an ambulance, then said she needed a ride to the airport before the sun came up and that someone needed to call the Drug and Alcohol Center, then cursed at dispatch and hung up.

A gray SUV with poor lane travel was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 257.

A Harrington man said someone dumped three bags of trash next to a smaller trash can near the city park, despite being informed it wasn’t a public dumpster.

A caller said a woman appeared to be smashing out the windows of a van on the side of Highway 2 at milepost 257.

A caller said someone backed into a vehicle at the Reardan Fire Station.

A civil dispute was reported in Odessa.

A caller said she believed her boyfriend and the Aryan Brotherhood was coming for her after they got into an argument the day prior.

An Odessa man said Verizon charged him more than $5,000 for services he was disputing.

Tacoma Police requested that deputies contact a family in Wilbur who appeared to be the legal owners of an abandoned vehicle found in Tacoma.

Medical response was requested on the 300 block of East Marjorie Avenue for a 56-year-old woman having difficulty breathing.

Oct. 10

Traffic stops: 11

A caller with Copenhaver Construction said he saw two people steal a power inverter off Highway 174 at milepost 25.

A civil dispute was reported on the 800 block of East Marjorie Avenue in Odessa.

Junk in a front yard was reported in Odessa.

A caller said she believed an uncontrolled fire could be burning near Highway 25 and Porcupine Bay Road, but no fire was found.

Oct. 11

Traffic stops: 7

A caller said her teenage daughter snuck out of the house the night prior on the 400 block of Maxwell Street.

A caller said he locked his keys in his car at Trader’s Express in Davenport.

Papers were served at an address in Reardan.

A Hawk Creek man said drivers were speeding and poorly passing vehicles on the newly paved portion of Hawk Creek Road.

A suspicious pickup truck parked behind a bush was reported on the 44400 block of Highway 174.

A deer vs. vehicle crash was reported on Highway 25 and Egypt Loop Road.

A caller said her ex was threatening her by calling CPS on her and trying to intimidate her.

A caller from Juvenile Services said the youth she was transporting jumped out of the car while she was driving through Reardan. The youth was eventually detained and transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

A child having mental health issues was reported at Davenport Middle School.

A caller said a man was yelling at a woman and may have punched a wall in front of their apartment.

A caller said he locked his keys in his truck outside Wheatland Vet Clinic in Davenport.

A caller said she was driving behind an erratically driven vehicle on Highway 2 that turned onto Tramm Road outside Reardan.

A caller said his friend collapsed on Lake Roosevelt and requested that ambulances meet him at Sandy’s in Wilbur.

An Odessa woman reported a woman sitting in the middle of the road on Second Avenue between Alder and Division Streets.

A caller said her 14-year-old son ran away from home after getting in trouble for vaping at school.

Traffic stops: 10

Lincoln County District Court requested a deputy for a court remand.

A Cheney man said he believed someone was shooting in his direction at the Fishtrap Lake shooting range as he could hear the bullets ricocheting over his head.

A caller said her husband blocked her from leaving for a doctor’s appointment and pushed her when she threatened to call the police.

Trespassing was reported on the 12600 block of Schorzman Road northeast of Krupp.

An Odessa woman reported fraud on the 700 block of Amende Drive.

A caller said he believed his ex-wife opened an account that was showing up on his credit report.

Oct. 13

Traffic stops: 2

A Tonasket woman reported a parked pickup truck blocking both lanes on Highway 2 at milepost 223.

A Davenport woman said someone dropped off a Nazi coin on the front door of Grant Zahajko Auctions.

A caller reported five dogs inside an abandoned house.

A caller reported a deer that had been hit by a car.

An abandoned vehicle was reported on the 300 block of H Street in Sprague.

A caller said an Odessa woman killed her husband, but further investigation proved this untrue as said husband was in Las Vegas.

Papers were served at an address in Odessa.

A Wilbur woman said a man with dementia came to a family gathering that was possibly a Level One sex offender.

A Medical Lake woman requested a welfare check on her cousin who lives alone.

An Odessa woman said she was receiving strange and threatening phone calls from someone who was using a voice distorter and knew some personal information about the woman, including what kind of car she drove.

Medical response was requested for a 25-year-old man who smoked weed, did acid and drank alcohol, leading to an elevated heart rate.

Ernest Keith Young Jr, Reardan, driving under the influence. Sentenced to 30 days jail and 30 days electronic home monitoring.

Warren Eugene Athey, Davenport, reckless driving. Sentenced to 16 hours community service and a $3,250 fine.

Lynette Dawn Hawley, Wellpinit, operating a vehicle without a title. Fined $400.

Garrett Douglas Woods, Hermiston, driving under the influence amended to reckless driving. Sentenced to 45 days in jail, a $1,000 fine and 24 months supervised probation.

Opal Ann McClure, Spokane, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 10 days in jail, 10 days of electronic home monitoring and 12 months supervised probation.

Patricia Ann Kapper, Reardan, driving under the influence. Sentenced to 10 days in jail.

Felix Nava Pacheco, Quincy, driving under the influence. Sentenced to one day in jail, a $1,000 fine, 36 months supervised probation and 24 months unsupervised probation.

Jacob Macoy Anderson, Ritzville, obstructing a law enforcement officer. Sentenced to three days in jail with credit for one day served, a $500 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Charles Evan Stewart, Davenport, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Case dismissed.

Criminal docket-Oct. 12

Vincent M. Stevens, who is charged with driving under the influence and attempting to elude a police vehicle, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for Dec. 12 and a jury trial was set for Jan. 3.

Joseph Ray Stocker, who was charged with second-degree taking a vehicle without permission, had his case dismissed as the alleged victim recanted his statement and didn’t want to participate in the case.
