Girls second, boys fifth at league champs

COLFAX - In the final cross country meet of the season for middle schoolers and the last opportunity for high schoolers before regionals, it was the Davenport high school girls finishing with the highest marks of any local school at the 1B/2B League Championships at Colfax Golf Club Friday, Oct. 13.

The Gorilla high school girls finished second with 72 points, behind only St. George's. Reardan's middle school boys took third in their division behind Chewelah and Colfax at 72 points, while Davenport was fifth with 130 points.
