"WHY AM I SEEKING OFFICE?"

Short answer? I have spent my entire adult life "helping people" and with my experience, personality, objective nature, and passion for my community and those around me, I feel that I would represent the citizens of Davenport well serving on the City Council.

I have been an executive-level safety professional and emergency hazmat response leader for international employers and clients from Fortune 100 companies for over 34 years. My work philosophy is that of making certain that every decision that I make MUST be in the best interest of my employer. This servant attitude allows me to objectify my decision-making process for the overall benefit of my employer or those that I serve. I will be taking this philosophy into the role that I seek as a Davenport City Council member.

My wife, Jodie, and I moved to Davenport two years ago and we could not be happier. While our six children and five grandchildren visit frequently, we have immersed ourselves into our new life here and we have made many great friends and acquaintances. I am presently a full-time operations / safety manager for an environmental remediation company, a volunteer fire fighter here in Davenport, a Lion's Club member, a PADI Master Scuba Diver / PADI Rescue Diver and I had the privilege of being asked to carry the 2023 Pioneer Days Flag to start off the parade. I am proud to be a Davenport resident and I look forward to the opportunity to continue sharing my experience with fellow City Council members toward the betterment of the citizens of Davenport.
