Reardan voters retained Sherm Johnson as mayor, but replaced incumbent councilwoman Joy Howard with Leanne Merkel. In Sprague, John C. Eagleson defeated incumbent Mike Evans for the mayoral role.

Sheriff Wade Magers petitioned the county commissioners for room in the budget to fill four road deputy positions, one of which opened after Jesse Allen’s departure.

World War II veteran and Reardan local Harry Grennay flew to Washington, D.C. to take part in an Honor Flight.
