ODESSA — One town Christmas event isn’t enough here. Locals can enjoy two holiday events in the next week if they’re feeling festive enough.
First up is the Old Town Hall Christmas Party and town Christmas tree lighting from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3.
Free food and hot drinks will be provided at Old Town Hall, while items will be auctioned off in a silent auction, music will be played and children (or adults) can take pictures with Santa Claus.
The town Christmas tree will be lit at 6 p.m. on First Street outside Old Town Hall.
The second event is Odessa Christmas Fest from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6. The Jr. Livestock 4-H Club will host the event at the Community Center that offers locals a chance to hear performances by local talent, shop for Christmas presents, purchase a Tree of Sharing gift tag and buying a hamburger.
