Katherine M. Fisk of Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed away on Dec. 2, 2023, at the age 66. Katherine was born on Nov. 26, 1957, in Spokane, Wash. to the late Gordon and Patricia (Koenig) Merkel.

Katherine loved to travel and see new places. Her journeys took her to many places to include Germany, Hawaii, and Alaska. The beach is what she loved the most. She always met the nicest people along her travels and had plenty of stories to tell when she returned.
