Three Gorillas, one ScrEagle recognized
DAVENPORT — Four athletes from Lincoln County were named to the 1B/2B Washington High School All-State Cross Country team. Locally, two boys and two girls were recognized.
From Davenport, Josie Wynecoop and Charlotte Soliday were on the girls All-State Team, while Jaeger Jacobsen represented the Gorillas on the boys team.
Gabe Branstetter was Reardan’s solo representative, also on the boys All-State Team.
Jacobsen finished fourth at the 1B/2B State Cross Country Meet in Pasco in November with a time of 16:36.7, while Branstetter finished ninth at 16:59.0.
On the girls side, Wynecoop finished seventh at the State Meet with a time of 20:16.8, while Soliday finished 12th at 20:45.7.
