Waters earns Athlete of the Week

Reardan eighth-grader Chasyn Waters was named one of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association's (WIAA) Athlete of the Week Thursday, Jan. 18.

She was recognized for her outstanding play in the Screaming Eagles back-to-back wins over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague and Upper Columbia Academy. In those games she averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and five steals.

"We are proud of Chasyn," Reardan head coach Bob Swannack said. "She is a relentless defender who plays with a ton of fire."
