Feb. 26

Traffic stops: 7

A local man was arrested on a firearms-related charge in Odessa.

A caller said a friend sent her a letter with a key and title to a vehicle in the mail and when she got the letter, it had been opened and the title and key were gone.

Suspicious activity was reported near Lake Roosevelt.

A Davenport man reported someone sleeping on the bench in front of U.S. Bank.

An Edwall woman said her room at a house on the 52200 block of Sobek Road had been emptied out by multiple people.

A caller requested hulk slips for two vehicles.

Multiple calls came in regarding a civil dispute between a man and woman over property, dogs and a motorhome in Sprague that reportedly culminated with the woman hitting the motorhome with her car and the man throwing the woman’s property on the ground.

Feb. 27

Traffic stops: 10

A jail inmate was transported from Spokane County to Lincoln County.

A three-vehicle crash was reported on Highway 2 and Tramm Road outside Reardan.

Two disabled vehicles were reported at Lake and Ghers Roads near Sprague Lake.

A caller said her neighbor’s front door had been open for over an hour and their dogs were running loose.

A caller said his game camera was stolen the day prior.

A caller requested eight to 10 hulk slips at his residence.

A citizen was contacted on the 800 block of Broadway Avenue in Reardan.

A caller said someone was drinking at the Speed Trap Tap House in Reardan and was soon going to drive “as she always does this.”

A possible driver under the influence was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 266.

A Davenport woman said her neighbor was demanding to come into her house and bed on the 400 block of Adams Street.

Traffic stops: 8

A Davenport woman said her dogs had gotten out again.

A caller said a man was cutting down her tree with a chainsaw.

A driver that ran out of gas was reported at Aspen and Poplar Streets in Reardan.

A 67-year-old man with chest pains was reported in Creston.

A caller reported a white van with its door open off the Interstate 90 exit at milepost 254.

Traffic stops: 5

A caller said a white sedan was almost driving off the road in Reardan.

An alarm was reported going off at Buddy Boy Farms in Devil’s Gap.

A medical emergency was reported in Reardan.

A motorhome blocking an alleyway was reported.

A vehicle lockout was reported at Les Schwab in Davenport.

A two-car crash with seven people involved and one person injured was reported at Highway 231 and Little Falls Road north of Reardan.

A downed power line was reported on the 800 block of Broadway Avenue in Reardan.

A medical emergency was reported in Reardan.

March 1

Traffic stops: 40

A commercial burglary alarm was reported at Buddy Boy Farms in Devil’s Gap.

An abandoned vehicle was reported on the 48100 block of Cougar Ridge in Ford.

A deputy assisted a driver with changing a flat tire.

Illegal parking was reported.

A suspected drunk driver was reported eastbound on Highway 2 from Davenport. The driver was eventually arrested near Reardan.

A man who wanted to give his dog away was reported at Main Avenue and Raymond Street in Wilbur.

A caller said a man in a pickup truck was following his daughter on her bike in Sprague.

A caller said a man was trying to break into her house while he was drunk in Sprague.

A CPS worker asked for a deputy presence at a contact attempt in Odessa.

March 2

Traffic stops: 26

An Edwall woman said two men let themselves in through the back door of her house on the 48000 block of Moffatt Avenue to retrieve their items, as they used to live in the house.

A Davenport woman said she could hear a man crying for help in an apartment below her at the Safeway Apartments.

Tracks on the road were reported at milepost 10 of Highway 25 near the Apostolic Church.

A Wilbur man reported vandalism on his property on the 400 block of Trinity Avenue.

A caller said he went fishing two days in a row and saw the same truck and trailer, leading to concerns someone spent the night on the water in a boat.

A man was arrested for driving under the influence on Interstate 90 at milepost 242.

A domestic dispute was reported in Reardan.

An Almira man reported poor living conditions for two horses and a cow at a home on Old Coulee Road four miles north of town.

A motorcycle creating excessive noise was reported on 13th Street in Davenport.

Jesus Martin Soto, 36, Odessa. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Feb. 27

Charles Edward Long, 65, Oroville. Arrested by LCSO on charges of third-degree driving with a suspended license and forging or altering a certificate of title.

Ernest Keith Young Jr., 37, Reardan. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of third-degree assault.

March 1

Brandon Douglas Fechtner, 41, Stevenson. Arrested by Washington State Patrol on a charge of driving under the influence.

Colton Lloyd Nibler, 30, Newman Lake. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.

Jeffrey Gerald Hodge, Springdale, operating a vehicle without a license. Sentenced to three days in jail.

Samantha Ranita Kearney, Soap Lake, failure to transfer title within 45 days. Case dismissed.

Charles Edward Long, Oroville, third-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a valid title (dismissed). Sentenced to four days in jail with credit for four days served and 12 months supervised probation.

William Lloyd Bentley, Sprague, third-degree driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence (separate cases). Cases dismissed on basis defendant is deceased.

Criminal court-Feb. 27

Ernest Keith Young Jr., who is charged with third-degree assault of a healthcare worker, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for April 16 and a jury trial was set for May 8.
