Drama Club presenting second play

DAVENPORT — The local Drama Club, which is run through the Library, is presenting its second annual springtime play at the High School Saturday, April 20.

“How to Enchant a Bookshop” will grace the auditorium stage under the direction of Delia Breedlove, who founded the Drama Club.

The play is based on the writing of Todd Wallinger and is the prequel to last year’s show, “The Enchanted Bookshop,” in which storybook characters come to life to save the bookstore of bookstore owner “Margie,” played by Alyssa Breedlove.

The Club has two shows Saturday, one at 11 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m. Both are free admission, with donations accepted.
