Odessa ranked No. 12 in state RPI

ODESSA - Despite two 20-1 and 16-6 losses to undefeated Northport last weekend, the 11-7 Tigers were ranked No. 12 in 1B baseball RPI rankings at press time as the regular season winds down.
Odessa's baseball boys are the most likely area team to qualify for the state tournament. To do so, the Tigers must finish in the top 4 in District 7 and advance to the District 7/9 Tournament, which begins Tuesday, May 7 and concludes Saturday, May 11.
The top five finishers at Districts advance to the state tournament.
Odessa is currently in third place in the league, according to the WIAA Standings webs...
