'Big John' is Whitworth-bound

Reardan senior Jonathan Holdway has verbally committed to play football at Whitworth University in Spokane next fall.

"I chose Whitworth because I can play football, study engineering and stay close to home," Holdway said. "The coaches at Whitworth are top-notch and I liked the school's vibe."

Holdway will play on the offensive line.

"I'm happy with my decision and I think my future is bright," he said.
