Gorillas spike Colfax, fall to Liberty

DAVENPORT – The opening round of the 2024 District 6 2B Volleyball Tournament was held at the high school Tuesday, Nov. 5, with Reardan, Davenport, Liberty and Colfax competing for the opportunity to advance to the state tournament.
In the opening games, Liberty defeated Reardan 3-1, and Davenport beat Colfax 3-2. The Lancers and Gorillas immediately played each other in the winner's bracket. Liberty beat the Gorillas 3-1 and for the right to play Freeman later in the week. With the loss, Davenport will play Northwest Christian.
