Gustaveson medals at elite tournament

DAVENPORT – Brock Gustaveson won five matches to place 4th at the Gut Check Wrestling Tournament Jan. 3-4 in Kent, Washington. Gustaveson and teammates Wayland

Holmberg and Malachi Hoff scored 37 points for the Gorillas which earned Davenport 54th place out of 97 schools.

The Gut Check Wrestling Tournament is billed as “The Northwest’s Elite High School Wrestling Tournament,” and one in which athletes compete against each other regardless of school size.

Holmberg, wrestling at 126 pounds, won one of his three matches to earn three points for the Gorillas.
