Reardan boys crack Top 10 in field

CHENEY — Athletes from across eastern Washington descended on Cheney High School Saturday, April 19, for the 2025 Van Kuren Invitational, with teams from Lincoln County competing against a deep and talented field.

Reardan High School had a strong showing in the boys 400-meter dash, placing two athletes in the top 10. Senior Gabe Branstetter took sixth in 52.31 seconds, while junior Blake Wynecoop finished seventh with a time of 52.72. Their efforts came in a race won by Chiawana’s Tristan Breier in 50.15 seconds, followed closely by teammate Carter Kreutz in 50.58.
