Odessa drops rematch to Mary Walker

ODESSA — The Tigers couldn’t turn the tide in their second matchup against Mary Walker this season, falling 8-3 to the Chargers in Tuesday’s road contest.

Mary Walker capitalized early and kept the pressure on throughout the game, sweeping the season series against Odessa after a previous win in April.

The Chargers’ victory also ended their own five-game home losing streak, improving their overall record to 7-6.

Odessa, now 2-8 overall and 2-5 in 1B Northeast District play, continues to search for consistency.
