DAVENPORT - During Davenport Elementary School's Hawaiian-themed spring concert, band teacher Robert "Rob" Harper received an award and a standing ovation honoring his more than 30-year career as a music educator. Harper, who is retiring at the end of the school year, accepted the award from the school's Associated Student Body on May 21.
