A number of Davenport people expect to drive to Keller next week to attend the annual salmon day festival. Chinook salmon are reported to be running in the San Poil river in great numbers.

Owens Brothers of Reardan, received a contract to grade and gravel about seven miles of state road 22 in Stevens county. The job will pay $38,939 to the contractor.

280 sacks of cement were used to pour 240 feet of sidewalk around the bank. The new sidewalk is 10 feet wide and 6 inches deep. The work done by the Hopp Construction company, was completed in one day.
